Windows Update
Make sure you have installed the latest updates for Windows. Trojan and spyware was designed to attack system vulnerabilities making it is possible to infect your computer. Windows Updates is to help you fix the bugs, vulnerabilities. Please check updates and download Windows patches, service packs and updates immediately. It is an efficient way to prevent Trojan and adware.
Clean Windows registry
Before I go on, I will tell you what a registry is. Windows registry is the database which records the computer configuration and setting. They exist in the form of KEY entries. Generally, Trojan, spyware and adware will modify the registry to prevent you to remove them. A registry program can block malware to change registry key. If the key is already modified, you can also repair it with a registry program. When you feel your computer slow down suddenly, you should suspect whether a virus has damaged your registry.

Install a good anti-virus
You know that anti-virus program can detect, remove and quarantine Trojan. What is an efficient anti-virus? It should be easy to use and practical. A lot of people reflect that Norton will slow their computer. I think Kaspersky is more friendly.
